Aaron Sefton, Partner/Engineer

Friends who have attended an "art party" hosted by Aaron Sefton know how to "put the ART back into pARTy." They also know a bit about Aaron's lighthearted creative spirit and the value he places on music and art. Consistently looking for ways to encourage bold creativity in any situation - especially a recording session - his enthusiasm and musical ear have always been valuable in his studio work. Among his experiences in Nashville, Aaron has served as the studio house engineer for producer and songwriter Ross Wine-Sky. As a live sound engineer, his experiences range from bluegrass festivals to the Pat Patrick Band, a 21-piece group made up of some Nashville's best musicians playing jazz, Motown, disco, and rock all in the same night.

Aaron holds a bachelor's degree in Recording Industry from Middle Tennessee State University and has a background in music. By now, his friends are not surprised to hear about his adventures and athletic undertakings, such as riding his bike across Missouri, thru-hiking the Appalachian Trail (from Maine to Georgia), or running another half-marathon.

Confession: Aaron is delighted by his recent discovery that "Compost Happens."

Daniel Rice, Partner/Engineer

Although it's been said that Daniel Rice has a "hairy-scary" beard, don't be frightened. He has a gift of putting people at ease and remaining calm in almost any situation. This ability has aided him during his years of experience in the demanding environment of live acoustic music. As a front-of-house engineer, he has toured with bands nationwide and internationally, mixed at the Ryman Auditorium, and earned the respect of musicians, promoters, and concert-goers alike. Since earning a bachelor's degree in Recording Industry from Middle Tennessee State University in 2003, Daniel has continued his education by closely working with Rich Adler, engineer and owner of Soundwave Recording. Daniel currently serves as the front-of-house engineer for the high-energy, Skaggs Family Records recording artist, Cadillac Sky.

Daniel's musician's heart is somewhere at the crossroads of metal and blues (think Zeppelin, Hendrix, or the White Stripes) when he plays guitar. He lights up when asked about his adventures with his sister while visiting Thailand & Cambodia, Guatemala, France or the American West. Daniel's peaceful demeanor also makes him a good rock climber.

Confession: Daniel is on a quest to master the art of making the perfect bean dip.
